Martin RKT Mint

$650.00

The RKT-Mint retains the RKT’s proven shape, but incorporates unique specifications for smaller female snowboarders.

The Mint is designed by Mellen Jay and Sean Martin, with input from Olympian Katie Tsuyuki.  Like the RKT, the Mint is an off-the-shelf model built for immediate performance: with carving-specific sidecut, generous waist width, and firm-but-forgiving flex engineered to grip and rip.

The RKT-Mint is constructed for shorter women & AFAB riders — without compromising width, power or stability.

The Mint integrates Mellen Jay’s newest Donek Kona design elements: engineered for petite female carvers or AFAB folks with smaller bindings. Finally! a performance snowboard so that small women can feel balanced at speed and achieve true arc-to-arc symmetry between toe and heel turns.

  • The Mint rides long due to its extended effective edge: subtract 5–10 cm from your normal board length.
  • The RKT-Mint comes in 139 cm with a generous 27 cm waist and inserts offset towards toe edge. The offset inserts accommodate female and AFAB riders’ lower center of mass, movement mechanics, and smaller foot sizes (US women size 5 to 8, or 21.5 – 25cm) on a wide board
  • True twin shape and firm flex, with asymmetric toe and heel sides.

Important Setup Note: When mounting the bindings, the toe side must be positioned on the side with the shorter distance to the edge, to unlock the board’s intended performance and edge-to-edge balance.
