Scythe Custom Snowboard
$865.00
The Scythe is a customizable directional carving board built for softboot riders using a posi-posi stance who want precise edge control, strong turn support, and clean carved arcs on groomed snow.
Based on the Incline platform and closely related to the Knapton Twin, the Scythe takes that carving foundation in a directional, hammerhead-inspired direction. A traditional camber profile, 25 mm setback, and subtle taper work together to create a board that enters the turn smoothly, holds with confidence through the middle of the carve, and finishes with clean, powerful edge release.
The hammerhead-inspired shape is designed for softboot riders who want more edge engagement, more drive, and more confidence at higher edge angles than a traditional twin shape can provide.
The Scythe can be built around the rider’s boot size, stance width, binding angles, weight, ability level, and carving style. A newer carver may benefit from a softer flex and tighter sidecut radius, while an aggressive expert may choose a stiffer flex, longer radius, wider waist, and more speed-focused setup.
The Scythe is offered in two construction options. Standard construction gives the board a more energetic, precise, and responsive feel, with strong edge engagement and lively rebound out of the turn. The Secret Construction upgrade keeps the same core Scythe geometry and flex target, but adds a much quieter, smoother, ultra-damp ride feel for riders who want reduced chatter and a more composed board at speed.
The Scythe is a groomer-focused carving board designed to cut clean lines, reduce boot drag, and give softboot carvers the platform they need to drive powerful, high-edge-angle turns.
